James Whitworth
James has specialised as a headhunter in the legal market since 2003 and, in this time, has been instrumental in the growth of the London office of a number of US firms, the development of key teams at UK firms at home and abroad, and has advised on some of the most high-profile partner moves in the sector. He has advised In-House clients on the restructuring of their teams, in addition to GC and other senior assignments.
Prior to co-founding Whitworth Brough, James was the Managing Director of one of the leading legal executive search firms and before this was catalytic in the global development of the legal division of one of the few recruitment firms to successfully IPO.
James read Theology and holds an MTheol (Hons.) from the University of St Andrews. In his spare time he wants to play better golf and enjoys squash, football, cycling and running. He is married with three daughters.
